HBMSU honors partners for their valuable contributions towards university's sustainable growth

[UAE, March 23, 2014] – Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) recently recognized its partners for their valuable contributions directed towards the university’s growth over the past years during a ceremony titled “Together we Grow.” A group of high-level government officials and representatives from the private sector attended the event. Some of those honored were from Dubai Land Department, Dubai Government Human Resource Department, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Community Development Authority, Dubai Customs, Dubai Media Incorporated, Dubai Women Establishment, Knowledge and Human Development Authority, RTA, Dubai Police, Zayed University, Dubai Smart Government, Ministry of Education, Du and many others.
Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor, said: “The main purpose behind this honoring ceremony is to reward our partners who provided significant support and assistance to HBMSU to achieve its strategic objectives. We thank all government entities and sponsors for their valuable contributions over the past years. Your contributions helped promote the university as a leading provider of smart learning and quality management in the region. We look forward to maintaining our long-standing and fruitful relations with all partners, as well as to providing new prospects of excellence in smart learning industry.”
During the event, HBMSU partners pledged to contribute their continuous support for the university, in adherence to Dubai Government’s vision to implant the bases of a Knowledge Based Economy and work towards improving the quality of life—extending full support for the Smart Learning initiative, which shall result in providing innovative solutions aimed at broadening and enhancing technology for the purpose of creating a new reality for the city of Dubai and establishing a new model of development.
HBMSU further revealed that its partners would be given free access to its e-Campus platform, the university’s unique virtual learning environment, in a bid to further promote the online initiative. The university’s e-campus is in line with its commitment to better serve the community. After the ceremony, an exhibition was held to showcase the products and services of HBMSU’s partners.
HBMSU partners were classified into several categories including Learning and Academic Development Partners (comprising partners in International Relations, Education Development and Publishing House); Communication and Accessibility Development Partners (comprising partners in Publications Printing, Media, Promotional Enhancement); Business Service Partners (comprising partners in Facilities and Administrative Services, Hospitality, Recruitment and Consulting Services, Government and Public Relations); and Technology and Innovation Solution Partners (comprising partners in Infrastructure and learning delivery services and e-Enablement Development services).
