Latest Qwen3.8 Flash available on QwenWork platform
China, August 27, 2026: Alibaba today unveiled the international edition of QwenWork, its latest all-in-one workplace AI agent platform, bringing its advanced agent technology to individuals and enterprises to the international market.
Available in public beta starting today on web and desktop client via QwenWork's international official website, the platform is designed for global users with a focus on fast-growing markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. The international edition offers interfaces in English and simplified Chinese, with Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and additional languages to be rolled out later on.
QwenWork International is offered under a subscription model paired with a credit system, with dedicated plans for individual and enterprise users. Users can choose from two model tiers, Standard and Advanced, selecting the industry's latest and leading AI models based on the complexity of their tasks. Specifically, user can choose Standard mode to experience Alibaba's newly released Qwen3.8 Flash model, which cuts token consumption per task by 75% and roughly doubles generation speed of the current mode, bringing flagship-level capability within reach of everyday workloads.
QwenWork International integrates the core capabilities of Alibaba's three existing AI agent platforms — QoderWork, MuleRun, and Wukong — into a single AI productivity platform delivered on both web and desktop. Users simply describe what they need in natural language, and, upon authorization, the agent navigates websites, operates their local computer, and orchestrates complex multi-step tasks on their behalf.
Notably, the desktop client offers a unique Awareness feature that gives QwenWork continuity across sessions. This opt-in personalization capability lets users define their own collaboration style and working conventions, so the agent operates in a way that fits how they work rather than following a one-size-fits-all default. When enabled, Awareness carries preferences and prior context forward, sparing users from re-briefing the agent each time — and it can be switched off by users at any time. Successful workflows can likewise be saved as reusable skills that evolve alongside each user's own way of working.
The platform combines autonomous agent capabilities with built-in web development and native multimodal generation. QwenWork generates not just static HTML pages but also provides hosting, database services and custom domain support, enabling non-technical users to transform ideas into live web applications in a single flow. For example, a user can simply request "build and deploy a static course homepage for Data Structures and Algorithms" and receive a live, publicly accessible site instantly- no coding or server setup required.
Beyond web development, QwenWork natively generates images, videos and audio and understands audio-visual—giving users a complete multimodal creative toolkit within a single platform.
The platform also supports office document generation, deep research, voice input, file comprehension, cloud-based scheduling, browser automation, and authorized local file operations on desktop etc.
A diversified AI agent choice for global enterprises
QwenWork International gives global enterprises a diversified AI agent option for their workplace stack. The platform supports both Google account and email sign-up, and plans to integrate with industry-leading enterprise tools through its connector framework.
The international edition also draws on Alibaba Cloud's global footprint, tapping its worldwide sales and service network to reach enterprise customers and running on Alibaba Cloud's robust and secure global infrastructure for delivery at scale.
Looking ahead
QwenWork was first unveiled in China in early August as a public beta and quickly gained traction among individual users and enterprises. On August 17, Alibaba's QwenWork was ranked the top workplace AI agent in a proprietary evaluation by New York-based investment bank Jefferies, outperforming seven other leading global agents.
Looking ahead, Alibaba plans to continue expanding QwenWork's key market strength, deepen integrations with widely used international productivity tools, and roll out additional capabilities for a broader range of workplace scenarios worldwide
