At GoDubai.com, our readers' trust is the foundation of everything we publish. These editorial standards govern how our team researches, writes, reviews, and corrects content across the site. They apply to every article, guide, listing, and news story we produce.
Accuracy & Fact-Checking
Every piece of content published on GoDubai.com goes through a structured editorial process before it reaches you:
- Primary sources. We verify facts using primary sources whenever possible — official government announcements, direct communication with businesses, published data from recognised institutions, and firsthand reporting by our team.
- Multiple-source verification. For news stories, claims of fact are verified with at least two independent sources before publication. If we cannot verify a claim, we either omit it or clearly attribute it and note that it has not been independently confirmed.
- Up-to-date information. Prices, opening hours, contact details, and other time-sensitive information are checked at the time of writing and updated regularly. Articles display the date they were last reviewed so you know how current the information is.
- Expert input. For specialised topics — education, legal, health, finance — we consult qualified professionals and clearly identify their credentials.
Corrections Policy
We hold ourselves accountable. When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and transparently:
- Minor corrections (typos, formatting, minor factual updates) are made directly in the article. A "Last updated" date is displayed on the page.
- Significant corrections (material factual errors that could affect reader decisions or understanding) are noted with a visible correction notice at the top or bottom of the article, stating what was changed and when.
- Retractions. In the rare event that an article's central premise is found to be incorrect, we will retract the article, add a retraction notice, and publish an explanation.
