- One of a kind experience puts visitors in the passenger seat of the world’s most capable off-roader
- Obstacle courses pushes the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser to its limits
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 11, 2015 – Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota in the UAE, will be hosting Dubai International Motor Show visitors at the unique Land Cruiser Experience, located just outside the main entrance of the Dubai World Trade Center, offering thrill and excitement unlike anyone has ever experienced at the show.
Made up of six different obstacles, the Land Cruiser Experience highlights many of the car’s off-road capabilities and safety features, including vehicle stability, chassis balance, wheel articulation, hill start assist, crawl control and more.
“The highly anticipated 2016 Land Cruiser was recently launched in the UAE, and we wanted to take the biggest regional stage to demonstrate to everyone just what this car is made of,” said Saud Abbasi, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Motors.
“The obstacle course really pushes the car to its limits, and allows passengers to fully experience the Land Cruiser’s capabilities once it’s put to the test. More importantly, this is a show of credentials as to just why the Land Cruiser is affectionately known as the Pride of the Land.”
Starting with “The Deck”, the Land Cruiser will safely navigate simulated undulating roads, before reaching the “Axle Twister” which simulates variable terrain environments, allowing the car to flex its 4-wheel drive muscles. “The Climb” offers passengers a breathtaking ride over steep inclines and declines. Next is the “Stability” and “Balance” tests, where the Land Cruiser traverses a 34-degree steep angled surface and demonstrates controlled maneuverability, before reaching the “Wadi”, where the Land Cruiser traverses a water obstacle by demonstrating its suspension and stability in wet conditions.
The Land Cruiser Experience will be held until the last day of the Dubai International Motor Show, November 14, 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
