Al Majid Motors and Kia Motors Launch All-New Optima at Dubai International Motor Show

Popular model one of Kia’s best-selling vehicles worldwide

Dubai, UAE, November 11, 2015: Al Majid Motors Co., the sole distributor for Kia cars in the UAE, is to launch All-New Kia Optima at the Dubai International Motor Show. The fourth-generation Optima, which made its premiere at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, is expected to increase Kia’s regional market share in the competitive D-segment.

“The Dubai International Motor Show represents the perfect platform for us to launch the new Optima, with the latest generation of brand’s popular sedan offering even greater refinement, improved ride and handling and a higher standard of appointments and features,” said Mohammed Khader, President, Al Majid Motors – KIA.

The All-New Optima boasts a revitalised exterior and a bold new interior design with more space for cabin occupants. An array of new technologies and a wide choice of efficient power trains is being offered, with the model retaining the sporty image that has helped the model become one of Kia’s best-selling vehicles worldwide. The improvements to every aspect of the car have been aimed at making the All-New Optima an even more compelling proposition to both private and fleet buyers in a segment that is forecast to expand.

August saw the benchmark figure of the 15 millionth Kia vehicle exported to the Middle East, confirming the commitment of the Kia brand and its growing acceptance as a consumer car of choice. 2015 also represented the 11th consecutive year of Kia growth, with a record annual production of 3.15 million units being a milestone marker in the in the company’s history. Al Majid Motors says that far from resting on its laurels, it will be working with Kia to continue with the brand’s success story.
