Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 24 June 2026: A family of matching remastered Classic Defender V8s in four iconic bodystyles is the latest eye-catching commission created by Land Rover Classic, the official home of Classic Defender restoration and customisation.
The quartet comprising 90 Station Wagon, 90 Soft Top, 110 Station Wagon, and newly introduced 110 Double Cab Pick-Up, is notable for its colour-changing Spectral Green paint finish that seamlessly transitions between green, purple and gold - depending on where the vehicles are viewed from and the light conditions.
The Spectral Green finish extends to the diamond-turned 18-inch Sawtooth alloy wheels, exterior badging and central interior fascia panels too, with each vehicle spending close to 400 hours in Land Rover Classic's in-house paint facility – from meticulous surface preparation to colour matching and final polish.
Each of the four-car collection also features a contrasting Icy White roof and expedition cage, Defender bonnet script, and hand-painted white coachlines.
Inside, semi-aniline Bridge of Weir Vanilla leather upholstered seats and trim are complemented by contrast green stitching to match the exterior. Superwool® carpets are bound in Bridge of Weir leather with the floor mats featuring debossed Defender wordmark.
The single-client commission represents the near-infinite customisation possibilities that Land Rover Classic offers clients via its Works Bespoke service, including the option to specify a colour inspired from any source, including personal items, natural landscapes or other vehicles in their collection.
Dominic Elms, Director, Land Rover Classic, said: "This spectacular Works Bespoke commission demonstrates the breadth of Land Rover Classic's customisation capabilities – the result of a collaborative creative process that engages our clients with our in-house design, engineering and craftspeople to bring their vision to life. An authentic Classic Defender V8 (or four, in this case), hand-built and remastered by the original manufacturer."
Every Classic Defender V8 is remastered from an original 2012-2016 Defender, uprated with 405PS power and a comprehensive set of specially developed performance parts.
New options for Classic Defender V8 commissions
Instantly recognisable and long admired by Defender enthusiasts, the 110 Double Cab Pick-Up body style is now available for Classic Defender V8 commissions, blending the versatility of a four‑door, five-seat, pick‑up with the unmistakable character of Land Rover's most enduring design.
The compact and practical two-seat 90 Hard Top body style is also now available, alongside existing 90 Station Wagon, 90 Soft Top and 110 Station Wagon body styles.
A new specially developed 9-inch touchscreen infotainment option brings wireless connectivity to Classic Defender. Integrated perfectly within a custom fascia, the system features Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, plus DAB/DAB+ Digital Radio, Bluetooth®, and 13-band graphic equaliser. An optional reversing camera is located discreetly within the rear bumper or optional step and includes a camera lens washer.
An expanded palette of paint colours for the roof and 16-inch heavy-duty Wolf wheel options now includes Fuji White and Corris Grey, while a Trophy Pack featuring Narvik Black Gloss bonnet, roof, rear door assembly and wheel arches is also added, offering further scope to contrast with the body colour.
