Arabian Automobiles Company Participates in the Global Launch of Nissan Patrol Desert Edition at Dubai International Motor Show

Automotive division of AW Rostamani Group confirms AED 450 million investment programme to upgrade facilities and expand operations
Dubai, UAE, November 11, 2015: Arabian Automobiles, flagship automotive company of AW Rostamani Group and the exclusive dealer for Nissan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, this afternoon participated in the launch of the Nissan Patrol Desert Edition at the Dubai International Motor Show 2015.
Developed and introduced specifically for this region, the new Nissan Patrol Desert Edition was conceptualised in collaboration with the Middle East’s most famous and influential motorsports personality, Dr. Mohammed Ben Sulayem, winner of 14 FIA Middle East Championships, sports ambassador and President of the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE.
The Dubai International Motor Show also saw Nissan showcasing line-up of other vehicles, which include the iconic Patrol NISMO and Patrol 2016, 370z, Altima, Juke, Pathfinder, Pathfinder Hybrid, Sentra, Sunny and X-Trail.
Nissan held several activities at its stand, which were designed to demonstrate the latest interactive technology. The activities included; a UEFA Champions League Penalty Shoot-out Challenge, a GT-R Racing game where visitors played using their mobile devices, and the fun Z-elfie booth that captured motor show moments. The attendees had the opportunity to take part in the first interactive after-sales experience, which highlighted the importance of using the genuine Nissan parts and the disadvantages on vehicles performance, safety and resale value, when using the non-genuine ones.
The year 2015, has been an important year for Arabian Automobiles Company, because the company saw doubled sales volumes of all vehicles over the last five years. The company is committed to building on this success with a growth programme that has seen it invest AED 450 million to upgrade its facilities and expand its operations.
Included in Arabian Automobiles Company’s growth strategy are a recently opened Certified Pre-Owned showroom on Al Ittihad Road, Nissan flagship showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road and Service Centre in Mohammad bin Zayed Road, both of which are due for completion in 2017. The company is launching a PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Centre for vehicle customisation, which is due for completion next year, as well as introducing an express service facility across all its key service centres, which will be in place by the third quarter of 2016.
