Abu Dhabi School of Management graduates first cohort of MBA students

UAE, May 17, 2015 - The Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM), a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an educational institution dedicated to developing the UAE’s future entrepreneurial leaders, welcomed its first cohort of MBA students during a meaningful graduation ceremony held recently at the National Archives Auditorium in Abu Dhabi.
Present during the Ceremony were H.E. Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Professor Abdullah Abonamah, President of ADSM, and Professor G. ‘Anand’ Anandalingam, Dean of Imperial College Business School who all delivered inspirational speeches to the assembly. A total of 76 students graduated under the program.
H.E. Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi said: “The MBA program is a vital link in ADSM’s mission of grooming entrepreneurial managers who can lead their respective organizations to growth while encouraging more entrepreneurial ventures in the UAE”. Professor Abonamah remarked: “We take pride in our first cohort of MBA graduates who have proven that they have the necessary skills and competencies to become future corporate leaders and productive members of society. We congratulate our faculty and staff for their efforts and for providing a great learning environment for our students. We wish our graduates the very best as they meet the challenges of today’s competitive business world head-on, armed with the unique skills that ADSM has provided them.”
ADSM’s MBA program combines a holistic integration of traditional business disciplines with the school’s unique approach to teaching the entrepreneurial thought process. It comprises a Pre-MBA Program, a Common Body of Knowledge, Signature Learning Experiences, Summer Assignments, Study Abroad Programs and Elective Courses. Graduates are exceptionally equipped to succeed across the entire spectrum of global organizations requiring leaders that focus on the creation of opportunities in a variety of contexts and who possess the entrepreneurial savvy to drive results and optimize businesses.
