Tadweer Gears Up for 43rd UAE National Day Celebrations

Impressive Lineup of Activities Planned
Abu Dhabi-UAE: 27 November, 2014 – Tadweer (Center of Waste Management-Abu Dhabi) will mark the 43rd UAE National Day with a host of cultural activities to pay tribute to the UAE’s history as well as its significant achievements in multiple fields under the country’s visionary leadership.
On December 1, Tadweer will host a tent in the park opposite InterContinental Hotel Abu Dhabi. Open to the general public, the tent will feature dedicated corners for traditional activities, henna painting, popular dishes from the UAE, and heritage performances by local artists at special morning and evening sessions. The tent will also feature awareness competitions with prizes distributed to the winners.
His Excellency Eisa Saif Al Qubaisi, General Manager, Tadweer, said: "On the occasion of the 43rd UAE National Day, I would like to congratulate the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the citizens and residents of the UAE. May Almighty Allah safeguard the UAE union and spread its glory and reputation among the peoples and nations of the world. "

Tadweer is the key government entity tasked with the provision of integrated waste management solutions in Abu Dhabi. As part of its efforts to support social causes, Tadweer actively participates in different community initiatives and works collectively with similar organizations to achieve its community development goals.
