Aster DM Healthcare opens its eight ACCESS Clinic in the UAE

Located at Souk Al Kabeer, Bur Dubai, the new Family Clinic brings quality and affordable healthcare to the residents in the neighborhood and beyond.

DUBAI- June 24, 2014: Aster DM Healthcare, the leading healthcare conglomerate in the Middle East and India, has opened its eighth ACCESS clinic at Souk Al Kabeer, Bur Dubai. ACCESS Clinic, which has rapidly gained success since its establishment in 2012, offers quality and affordability aiming to cater to the day-to-day healthcare needs of its patients. 

The launch of the new Clinic was a glittering affair, attended by popular Bollywood celebrities Vidya Balan, Dia Mirza and director Samar Shaikh, the star cast of the upcoming Reliance Entertainment movie ‘Bobby Jasoos’. The launch was attended by Ms. Alisha Moopen, Director–Corporate Strategies of Aster DM Healthcare, and other senior officials of the Group. 

Commenting on the launch of the new ACCESS Clinic, Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman and Managing Director of ASTER DM Healthcare, said, “We are very pleased to launch our eighth ACCESS Clinic in the UAE. I established my successful medical practice in Bur Dubai in 1987 opening the Al Rafa Poly Clinic, a single doctor clinic with a small setup. The Clinic, which has grown to become a full-fledged family health clinic, turned out to be the first facility under the network,” Dr. Moopen remarked.

The new ACCESS Clinic will provide affordable and quality primary healthcare services with departments of General Medicine, Gynecology, Dentistry and Paediatrics. Clinical Laboratory services and X-ray facilities would also be available, in addition to ASTER Pharmacy set up adjacent to the Clinic for the convenience of the patients.

The new ACCESS Clinic, set up at Souk Al Kabeer building, opposite Carrefour will be functional from 8 am to 11 pm on weekdays, 9 am to 11 am and 4.30 pm to 9.30 pm on Fridays. 

ACCESS Clinics provide consultation at a nominal fee. The Clinics is also empanelled with all major insurance companies.

ACCESS Clinics are currently operational at Ramla Mall in Dubai Investment Park (DIP), Deira Gold Souk, residential camp in Muhaisinah 2 (Sonapur), Deira Naïf Police Station area, Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA), South International City-Morocco cluster, Muwailah Industrial Area in Sharjah and Bur Dubai (near Al Ghubaiba Bus Station). More ACCESS Clinics are being set up in different other locations including Persia Cluster in International City, and Dubai Investment Park (DIP) 2 in Jebel Ali. The expansion strategy will see the accomplishment of 10 ACCESS clinics by the end of this year.
