Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL) is a constituent college of the University of London. The college has three faculties and about 9,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from over 100 different countries. The campus is located in Surrey, some 19 miles (31 km) from the centre of London.

Royal Holloway is ranked 12th in the UK, 36th in Europe and 102nd in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2013-14.This ranks Royal Holloway in the top 1% of all higher education institutions worldwide.
