LEVA Hotels Continue to Strengthen Their Ongoing Environmental Responsibility
Last Update: Wednesday, July 13, 2022 : 10:18 (+4GMT)
LEVA Hotels brings focus to increasing its environmental responsibility during the early months of 2022 by successfully collecting more than 300kg of plastics.
The LEVA Group partnered with Emirates Environmental Group on their largest initiative, One Root, One Communi-tree (OROC). In order to bolster environmental accountability, LEVA Hotels staff members signed up to understand the importance of recycling. Commencing in 2010, Emirates Environmental Group introduced the OROC initiative as an annual event. The initiative links itself to the recycling programme “For Our Emirates We Plant” and gives members the opportunity to plant trees under their name. The member must deposit a target amount of recyclable materials, which can include paper, plastic, aluminum, glass and mobile phones, during a two-week period.
The LEVA also uses eco-friendly amenities, such as giving guests a paperless digital check-in and check-out alongside the eco-friendly amenities placed in each room. LEVA also encourages guests to purchase the brand’s mugs, which reduce plastic bottle usage.
JS Anand the Founder and CEO of LEVA Hotels is available to provide articles, opinion pieces and comments on relevant topics. Some of the topics can include:
• The shift towards hospitality going paperless and providing digital solutions for customers.
