78% of Union Coop Sales belong to Tamayaz Card Holders

More than 672, 000 customers have enrolled in Union Coop’s ‘Tamayaz’ loyalty program   

Dubai, UAE - August 23, 2021:  Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE revealed that 672,759 customers so far have enrolled in its ‘Tamayaz’ loyalty program, noting that there are two categories of cards i.e. ‘Golden’ for Shareholder consumers and ‘Silver’ to all non-shareholder consumers. The firm also highlighted that 78% of the total sales belonged to consumers who have enrolled in the popular loyalty program. 

In detail, Ms. Huda Salem Saif, Senior Communication Section Manager at Union Coop confirmed that Union Coop is committed to launching products offerings that enhance the customer experience as it announced, with the developments in the retail sector in the country, two types of loyalty cards to make shoppers happy, i.e. Gold and Silver card, intended for two categories of Union Coop consumers, (shareholders and non-shareholders), where the number of card holders has reached up to Now 672,759, which confirms the confidence of shoppers in the competitive prices of Union Coop and distinguished from other outlets in the market.

She indicated that the number of Tamayaz gold card holders accounted for 33,173 shareholder consumers while the number of silver cardholders or non-shareholder consumers reached 639,586, noting that 78% of the Union Coop sales belong to Tamayaz cardholders from both categories. 

She pointed out that Tamayaz cards are available in all Union Coop branches for all customers for FREE and need to be registered and activated online to fully enjoy the benefit from the program, and they can also be obtained from the ‘Customer Happiness’ center in any branch of Union Coop.

She added that the "Tamayaz" card enables customers to earn loyalty points while making purchases at Union Coop, in addition to benefiting from the promotional offers with competitive prices that Union Coop constantly launches, in addition to accumulating loyalty points and redeeming them after collecting a certain number for each of its categories with a cash discount, not to mention the ease of entering and registering on the Union Coop website and order products from the Web Store, in addition to satisfying the desires of a large and diverse segment of shoppers with products where the discount rate sometimes reaches up to 90%.
