Dr Mohammed Salem AlMazrooei, Board Member at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation, said: “Our participation in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair reflects the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library’s commitment to supporting the cultural and knowledge landscape, promoting reading and books within society, and strengthening collaboration between libraries, publishers, and cultural institutions. Book fairs provide an important platform to exchange knowledge and expertise, build meaningful partnerships, and develop initiatives that broaden access to knowledge and enrich the cultural experience of the community.”

AlMazrooei added:“We continue to present the Library as an integrated knowledge ecosystem where books, ideas, cultural programmes, interactive experiences, and heritage preservation come together. Our participation in this edition reflects the diversity of the Library’s role and our commitment to making knowledge more accessible, engaging, and connected to the interests of today’s audiences.”

An Integrated Knowledge Platform

Throughout the fair, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library will introduce visitors to its services, knowledge resources, and membership categories, encouraging them to discover the benefits and opportunities available through the Library.

The Library will also spotlight a number of its flagship initiatives and projects, including the Dubai International Library Summit 2026, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award, and the Dubai Archive, which documents Dubai’s rich history and preserves its cultural and documentary heritage for future generations.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a selection of the Library’s publications covering culture, knowledge, science, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and other fields, alongside publications produced in connection with summits and conferences organised by the Library.

A Programme That Brings Knowledge to Life

The Library’s cultural programme has been designed to offer audiences opportunities to learn, participate, and engage.

Highlights include a workshop exploring the fundamentals of voice-over, poetry and literary evenings, thought-provoking panel discussions, and specialised activities led by the Library’s Conservation Department, offering visitors a closer look at the importance of preserving books and cultural heritage.

Daily Interactive Experiences

The Library’s platform will also transform into an engaging cultural space throughout the fair, with a range of daily experiences designed for visitors of all ages.

The programme will feature live musical performances and an Arabic calligraphy experience, where visitors can have their names or favourite phrases written in different Arabic calligraphic styles.

The Libraries Department will also present the Knowledge Minute competition, an interactive experience built around short knowledge-based questions. The activity combines learning and entertainment while encouraging visitors to test their knowledge and engage with the Library’s platform.

Through its participation in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library reinforces its vision of knowledge as a dynamic and integrated experience, one that connects books and ideas with literature, the arts, heritage, and community engagement.

The participation also reflects the Library’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its network of cultural and publishing partnerships, exchange expertise, and create new opportunities for collaboration that contribute to a vibrant and accessible knowledge ecosystem.
