UAE Inventors Association awards honorary membership to Salem Almoosa for his valuable contributions

August 22, 2021: His Excellency Salem Ahmad Almoosa, Founder, Chairman and General Manager of Salem Ahmad Almoosa Enterprises (SAAE) was awarded honorary membership by the UAE Inventors Association for his support and valuable contributions to the association. During a visit and meeting with Ahmed Abdullah Majan, Emirati Inventor and Chairman of the association, he expressed his appreciation to the contributions of inventors as pillars for building the country’s future.

In the said meeting, several key opportunities were discussed to enhance the sector such as encouraging volunteer work in the field of invention and strengthening its foundation, enhancing scientific research and technology development, and recognizing the role of invention as a driving force for sustainable development in line with the UAE’s initiatives.

H.E. Almoosa reaffirmed his commitment to unite efforts in motivating and recognizing innovators and inventors, in line with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to strengthen UAE’s position as a global hub for innovators. The country’s leaders constantly encourage efforts to create a stimulating environment for the local youth to become more creative in various fields as they will shape the future of the country.

H.E Almoosa added: "The meeting provided a timely opportunity to discuss and explore possible joint cooperation with the UAE Inventors Association in strengthening and recognizing the contributions of inventors in the country, as well as encouraging and supporting innovators that are shaping the UAE’s future. This comes at an important time as we witness the remarkable development and innovations in the country, guided and supported by the nation’s leaders who believe in the importance of innovation in enhancing people’s lives. On our part, we reaffirm our commitment to encourage creative minds and support inventions and innovations in the local business environment as we strive to diversify the economy, boost economic growth, and shape a better, progressive future.
