Union Coop Employees Get Vaccinated

United Arab Emirates - February 03, 2021: Union Coop – the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE has revealed that it arranged for the Covid-19 vaccination for all its employees, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), thereby being the first Consumer Cooperative in the country to do so.
Union Coop’s Human Resources & Emiratisation Director, Mr. AHMAD SALEM BIN KENAID AL FALASI said: - “Union Coop seeks to provide covid-19 vaccine to all of its employees to support the efforts made by our wise leaders and people regarding the health and safety of the citizens and residents in the country, and the measures implemented to manage diseases and epidemics,” explained the HRE Director who assured that Union Coop will continue to take all the necessary measures to maintain Health and Safety of its employees and the society.
He added: - “During the first phase, Union Coop provided about 360 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine for its employees, indicating that the second phase will cover all the employees as the vaccine will be provided to them at the staff accommodation units to facilitate and maintain their health,” indicating that Union Coop is keen to annually provide seasonal flu vaccine regularly.
It should be noted that Union Coop carries out regular educational, cultural and medical campaigns to ensure the health and safety of its employees.
