Dubai Shopping Festival's Highest Value Raffle Ever In Partnership With Idealz and W Motors

To celebrate its 26th edition, the Dubai Shopping Festival will raffle off its most extravagant prize to date – a W Motors Fenyr SuperSport

17 January 2021, Dubai, United Arab Emirates:  This edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) will feature the highest value prize in the history of the annual retail and entertainment event as part of the DSF Supercar Raffle, a W Motors Fenyr SuperSport worth AED6 million.

The one-of-a-kind mega raffle is a partnership between Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), organiser of DSF, the well-established online shop-and-win platform Idealz and W Motors, the Dubai-based sports car manufacturer. 

The collaboration between DFRE and Idealz was conceptualized to maximize DSF’s presence online and to make the DSF Supercar Raffle available to all residents and visitors. Idealz, which already carries out dozens of weekly grand raffles, is well suited to execute DSF’s aims digitally and support Dubai’s largest annual shopping celebration and its highest ever value giveaway. 

W Motors became known worldwide for the appearance of its flagship car, the Lykan HyperSport, in the 7th edition of the Fast and Furious movie series. Due to its range of bespoke and exclusive sports cars, and its close ties to the UAE with its headquarters in Dubai, W Motors was chosen as the most fitting company to partner with DSF for this year’s ultimate prize campaign, the DSF Supercar Raffle.  

One of the most exclusive cars on the market, the Fenyr SuperSport is one of only 111 that will be built and sold by W Motors. Its exterior body is crafted in carbon-fibre with extensive use of graphene composite and it features a reverse-opening door system and an active aerodynamics system. The custom-made RUF engine was specially developed – a 3.8L  twin-turbo flat 6, mid-rear  mounted engine capable of delivering 800HP, making it possible to reach 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and a maximum top speed of 400 km/h. 

DSF shoppers can participate in the DSF Supercar Raffle by visiting the Idealz app or website to purchase a scale model of the sports car, priced at AED1,500 each. Ending on March 30th, the winner of the DSF Supercar Raffle will alternatively be offered the option to walk away with AED2 million in cash in place of the rare sports car.

This year’s DSF is the first time DFRE has partnered with a separate entity to collaborate on the festival’s celebrations. In partnership with Idealz, DSF has successfully rolled out several campaigns since November, including its two grand raffles. DSF’s Infiniti Mega Raffle and AED500,000 Mega Prize continue to be available for visitors to participate in until their draws on January 30th and January 28th respectively. These campaigns are exclusively available on Idealz and accessible to everyone.
