Dubai, UAE, 11 January 2020: In celebration of the 26-year anniversary of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), Mall of the Emirates and City Centre have launched a full and exciting programme of events to reward visitors.
Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif
Some of the region’s most famous TikTokers will be on-hand to enliven the malls’ DSF celebrations with their humour and charm. Visitors will be treated to live performances, with some of the region’s most beloved TikTokers regaling shoppers with renditions of a brand new song, made exclusively — and in collaboration with Anghami — for the malls’ DSF celebrations.
This will join a number of eagerly anticipated live performances, including a Dreamworks’ Trolls show, inspired by and based on the popular animated movie, at Mall of the Emirates from 21 to 30 January.
City Centre Mirdif
From 7 to 16 January 2021, young visitors can take in a heart-warming production at City Centre Mirdif: “Masha and the Bear” — an endearing series that follows the adventures of a three year-old girl named Masha and her retired circus star friend, Bear.
The much vaunted “Octo in the Air” will also allow mall visitors to marvel at the highflying feats of two aerialists as they put on a beautifully curated show of world-class acrobatics from 21 to 23 January.
From 21 to 30 January 2021, City Centre Mirdif will also host an enthralling Mirror Dance Piece, showcasing the stunning choreography of a skilled troupe of dancers.
City Centre Deira
At City Centre Deira — from 7 to 16 January — music lovers can attend a “Tribute to Pop” hologram concert and dance and sing to their heart’s content. City Centre Deira will also host a White Couture roaming show between from 14 to 16 January.
