Union Coop's ‘Final Call' Campaign: AED 10 Million Spent on Price Cuts

Retail pioneer looks forward to wrapping the year 2020 on a happy note for the consumers through its exclusive promotion named ‘Last Call’
United Arab Emirates - December 29, 2020: Union Coop – the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE announced that it has allocated AED 10 Million towards exclusive promotion campaign ‘Final Call’, which will reduce prices of more than 20, 000 products by up to 90%. This comes within Union Coop’s framework of its strategic goal aimed at implementing attractive and high-value shopping programs that benefit the shareholders and consumers alike, in addition to supporting the community and serving the nation’s strategic and socio-economic goals.
Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki, Director of Happiness & Marketing Dept. Union Coop explained that: - “Union Coop carried out 101 promotional campaigns since beginning of this current year Until the end of this year 2020, and despite the severe circumstances due to Corona pandemic, Union Coop continued to offer competitive prices in form of promotions and discounted offers,” explaining that this comes as a strategic goal of Union Coop that is to reduce the burden on its shareholders, consumers and community members.

He further adds: - “The ‘Final Call’ campaign has started from December 29, 2020, until January 1, 2021, includes discounts of up to 90% on 20,000 products and 200 food and non-food items in all Union Coop branches, with the aim of meeting the needs and expectations of the consumers and maximizing the benefit for him and manifesting our plans that are in the interest of the consumer, insisting that price cuts include the most important basic commodities, including rice, oil, sweets and meat, as well as vegetables and fruits, in addition to electrical and household appliances.
