The Year 2020 turns out to be the luckiest for Marwan! Winner of Bawabat Al Sharq Mall's Shop & Win campaign

United Arab Emirates -  December 16, 2020:    Good fortune has finally smiled on Marwan Barakat, the winner who drove away in the Jeep Gladiator, that too at a time when he is just a couple of months away from his retirement. 

Hard-pressed for time, Marwan was facing a bleak future after retirement due to his mounting financial uncertainties and lack of enough savings. It was his wife who then suggested him to try his luck in the shop and win promotion at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall. 

Shoppers who shopped for AED 200 at any of the mall stores or for AED 400 at Carrefour got a chance to enter the raffle draw. In Marwan's case, he could only afford to participate with very few vouchers. 

An understandably, elated Marwan commented, "I have never won anything all my life and this is indeed the first time I am a winner. This year has especially been a hard one, but all that has suddenly changed 100%. I thank my dear wife for her encouragement and of course, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall for giving me the chance to win finally before I retired."
