Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 25, 2020: HONOR launches the HONOR 9X PRO, the first smartphone from HONOR that is equipped with the state-of-the art 7nm Kirin 810 AI Chipset and pre-installed with the Huawei AppGallery, in the UAE immediately following the global reveal of the brand-new device. Featuring world class AI performance, a 48MP Triple Camera and a 6.59” HONOR FullView Display, the HONOR 9X PRO delivers an enhanced user experience with upgrades across performance, gaming and photography.
The HONOR 9X PRO is available for purchase from Hihonor.com, Sharaf DG, Carrefour, LuLu Hypermarket and other top retailers starting 26th March 2020 at the accessible price point of AED999.
“We are thrilled to bring the newly announced HONOR 9X PRO to our customers in the UAE. Catering to the needs of digital natives, the latest addition to our growing portfolio of products is a solid all-rounder, raising the user experience bar with phenomenal photography and performance capabilities,” said Chris Sun Baigong, President of HONOR Middle East and Africa.
Top-Notch 7nm Kirin 810 AI Chipset
The Kirin 810 AI Chipset runs on Huawei’s brand-new computing architecture to allow more sophisticated and diverse applications in AI. As the architecture is very flexible, it can cover all scenarios ranging from super-fast AI learning machines to small wearables that run on a tiny scale. In the case of the HONOR 9X PRO, the highly efficient 7nm Kirin 810 AI Chipset improves energy efficiency by 20% and its transistor density by 50%.
Furthermore, its GPU is upgraded to the custom Mali-G52 that enables Kirin Gaming+, a feature that provides a smoother gaming experience while its Liquid Cooling System effectively improves heat dissipation during prolonged gameplay.
Unique Dynamic X Design and Full-View Display
The HONOR 9X PRO features a 3D gradient X-shaped glass back finish and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, making these handsets a minimalistic art piece. The new smartphone comes in two colors – the Magic Night Black and Phantom Purple.
The HONOR 9X PRO adopts a Pop-Up Selfie Camera, taking away the distractions of the notch to offer an immersive visual experience under all circumstances. Owing to the ultra-thin bezels and advanced chip-on-film (COF) technology, the 6.59” HONOR FullView Display achieves an incomparable screen-to-body ratio of 92%.
Designed with users in mind, the 6.59” HONOR FullView Display is designed with a unique TÜV Rheinland-certified Blue Light Filter, effectively minimizing the harmful blue light radiation emitted to prevent eye fatigue or even damage to vision.
48MP Triple Camera for All-Scenario Photography and Stunning Night Photography
The HONOR 9X PRO features a versatile 48MP Triple Camera setup, prioritizing functionality to help users capture every precious moment. 48MP photography is a breakthrough for smartphones, and the power, as well as the accessibility of the primary sensor, continues to excite photography fanatics. Delivering a phenomenal 48 million effective pixel count, you’re guaranteed to capture every striking detail.
The HONOR 9X PRO features an f/1.8 aperture and ½-inch sensor to boost image resolution and quality and the addition of a 120° Super Wide Angle Camera to help users capture a broad and extensive view. With automatic distortion correction, the HONOR 9X PRO offers an astounding 120° Field of View for users to share even more scenery in captivating landscape shots, while the 2MP depth-assist lens at f/2.4 enables depth of field recognition technology to create amazing portraits.
Taking night-time photography to the next level, the HONOR 9X PRO supports AIS Handheld Super Night View 2.0 and features a large 1/2-inch sensor which dramatically improves the camera’s sensitivity to light beyond human eyes, presenting incredible shooting performance in low-light situations.
