Advanced technologies played a key role in the Dubai Police Academy Graduation, befitting Dubai’s status as a global hub for innovation and creativity.
January 23, 2020 – Memories Events, an events management company which has obtained 15 certificates from Guinness World Records, has successfully organized another innovative event during the 27th batch of Dubai Police Academy cadet’s graduation ceremony. The Dubai Police Academy partnered with Memories Events in hosting a one-of-a-kind graduation ceremony at the Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk, Dubai, which attracted more than 10,000 visitors and a remarkable turnout from the local and international media, turning the event into a global sensation.
The innovative graduation show is the first-ever in the world and uses a 6D technology, along with a light show, and a highly creative police parade formation.
Wael Jaber, Founder and CEO of Memories Events said: “We are honored to cooperate for the second year in a row with the Dubai Police Academy in organizing the graduation ceremony of the 27th batch of cadets. Time was our biggest challenge as we had to complete all design, implementation and marketing preparations within a limited period. However, with having already succeeded in implementing such a high-profile event through effective coordination with the Dubai Police Academy and our key global partners, we have successfully developed a show that put innovative technology at the forefront of events management.”
Experts from Memories Events Management took responsibility for overseeing the entry and exit mechanism to and from the graduation ceremony and designing and drawing formations on the ground that revealed images of the country’s leaders, which was done with cooperation of the police officers who implemented it professionally. Memories Events Management created a visual and audio narrative in cooperation with Berlin Philharmonic, one of the largest music schools in the world.
Memories Events also sought the support of artist Salim Assaf, who worked on the lyrics and musical composition, along with artist Jihad Al-Atrash, who delivered the speech. The Gulf segment of the show was written by Colonel Muhammad al-Shaer and distributed by Fares Musaad. The show was recorded by Budapest-based Pannonia Studios in collaboration with the Beetle eLenay Orchestra. One11, the sister company of Memories, implemented all the marketing campaigns for the graduation ceremony.
The event marked a new major innovation which placed Dubai once again as a global leader in making the best use of technological advancements. Memories Events Management has worked with high-profile international partners to provide integrated panels carrying the content of the heritage and creativity of the emirate, with innovative notes using the latest advanced technologies. In the run up to Dubai’s hosting of EXPO 2020 this year, the graduation ceremony showcased a series of creative designs and distinctive visual content with a compelling story, themed ‘From Al-Wasl to Al-Wasl’. The company installed about 880 lighting and projection devices to produce a truly unique global show.
