Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 8th December 2019: As the month turns to December and the young and old can start counting down to the winter holidays, the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has introduced the “Gifting Weekend”. Set to take place from 12 to 14 December 2019, residents and visitors can revel in the true spirit of the season, as retailers and shopping malls across Dubai stage magical festive activities and events, and launch the most incredible deals and offers ranging from 25 to 75 per cent over the three days.
Dubai will be alight with a wonderfully ambient atmosphere this Gifting Weekend, as over 1,500 retail outlets embrace the spirit of the season with festive window displays and special experiences to bring smiles to all. Shoppers can also pick up the perfect presents for loved ones from the lifestyle, beauty, fashion, furniture and electronics categories and more, as retailers put out enticing promotions especially for the occasion.
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) said: “We are thrilled to announce the dates for Dubai’s inaugural Gifting Weekend, which comes at an opportune time in line with the holiday break and global sales periods, as consumers look for ways to celebrate the festivities with loved ones and seek out gifts for family, friends and colleagues prior to the holidays. We have an impressive line-up of brands participating, who are working hard to make this both a special and rewarding shopping weekend for all.”
