Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 22 May 2018: Celebrate the forthcoming holy month of Ramadan in all its reverence at BurJuman. Through a partnership with the Red Crescent, the mall is inviting its customers to help those less fortunate and in need by donating clothes; this activity also supports the ethos of the Year of Zayed, which commemorates the values of the UAE’s founding father who laid great emphasis on giving.
Commencing the first day of Ramadan and running into Eid, shoppers can help by donating unused and old clothing (in a good state of repair) via easily accessible donation points. All collected items will be given to the Red Crescent UAE to be distributed to families in need.
“BurJuman is an integral part of its local community, and strongly believes in giving back to the society we are a part of. The Holy Month of Ramadan is about embracing the gift of giving, and even the smallest donation can make a big impact,” said BurJuman Management “We look forward to working with the Red Crescent Society again this Ramadan and helping them in their charitable endeavours.”
Shoppers are also invited to experience and embrace the true spirit of Ramadan during the Holy Month - the mall will be decorated with beautiful Ramadan-themed elements to mark the occasion. From 7pm to 10pm each night, indulge in Arabian culture at the mall’s Main Atrium where visitors can have an Arabic Calligrapher write their name or have their hands adorned with intricate designs with Arabic Henna Art. Younger members of the family can experience the Holy Month and exhibit their creative flair in the Arts and Crafts Corner.
Break your fast at one of the many diverse restaurants or with complimentary coffee and dates provided at the mall’s main atriums. You can also visit Bateel to shop for delicious dates. The exquisite chocolates from Patchi will also be a great addition to your Ramadan shopping list.
During Eid Al Fitr, between 4 pm to 11 pm daily, visitors can also explore the festive activities at the mall with an artist creating masterpieces in sand bottles, storytelling that will enthral the audience and face painting for kids. In addition to these, between 25 May to 18 June, shoppers spending more than AED 200 at BurJuman will enter a raffle to stand a chance to win AED 250,000 in cash and luxury gifts as part of the Dubai Shopping Malls Group’s Eid in Dubai Spend and Win promotion. Winners will be announced during the three day celebration of Eid Al Fitr.
BurJuman’s retailers and food court will also follow extended opening times during Ramadan. For more information on all of the activities, F&B outlines and retail experience during the month of Ramadan, please visit www.burjuman.com.
A dynamic mix of retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues makes BurJuman the ideal destination to spend quality time with your family during Ramadan and throughout summer.
