The glittering cultural symbols hanging from the ceiling and bright arabesque motifs that adorn every corner of the malls reflect the spirit of peace, tranquillity and hospitality during the Holy Month. The glowing installations have become a social media highlight among residents and tourists visiting Mall of the Emirates, My City Centres and City Centres in the UAE during Ramadan every year.
The malls’ encourage families and friends to come together and freeze the special moment in time with a picture with the dazzling decoration in the backdrop and share it on social media.
Majid Al Futtaim has also launched its annual ‘Make a Difference’ this Ramadan initiative to collect donations for distribution to those in need across the region. Now in its 12th year of partnership with the UAE’s Red Crescent Society, the ‘Make a Difference’ this Ramadan programme encourages visitors to donate toys, clothes and books for families. Visitors can drop their contributions at the mall donation boxes throughout the month.
