Dubai Quality Group kicked off the 15th Cycle Emirates Women Award 2018 to empower UAE professional & Business Women

Dubai, 07, April, 2018, UAE:   Under the theme “Wisdom, Goodness and Giving”, Dubai Quality Group kicked off the 15th Cycle of Emirates Women Awards (EWA), under the patronage of H.H. Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive Emirates Airline & Group, to empower UAE professional & Business Women (National and residents) achievers in order to honor and celebrate the women who have excelled in their respective fields.

The Submission Deadline for Emirates Women Award on 12th April 2018 through the website and the terms for applying should be UAE citizenship or have a valid residence permit (for non-citizens) with minimum three years of experience in their area of specialization.

The winners will be selected and verified by the prestigious EWA assessment jury after conforming to all criteria and conditions of the award. And they will be announced and honoured at the annual awards ceremony in May, that will be graced by HH Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Ms. Fatma Buti Al Mheiri, the first woman chairman of DQG,VIPs, government officials, dignitaries and businesswomen from across UAE. 

The award aims at recognizing & appreciating women in the UAE (both Nationals & Expatriates) for their outstanding contribution to the country, in order to inspire and encourage the next Generation Women Leaders to achieve their true potential by empowering their status in the society.

There will be two Overall Winners based on Business and Professional categories. The Criteria of winners will be based on overall best performer of Leadership criterion, Strategic and Financial Planning criterion, Career Achievements criterion, Community Contributions criterion, Innovation criterion.

We are delighted to launch the 15th Cycle of the Emirates Women Award, under the theme of wisdom, goodness and giving in line with the celebration of "year of Zayed", as known, the UAE’s founding father, the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, was widely recognized as a wise, visionary leader and an inspirational man, who was an icon of Wisdom, Goodness and Giving for everyone. We are grateful to his wise vision that was keen to provide Emirati women with the best of education and to protect her rights with a well-established legal system, which provided unique opportunities for Emirati women across all fields, including heading the ministerial posts and holding top positions across corporate boards, governmental bodies, and universities. This support has emboldened, and encouraged Emirati women to see no bounds and set their ambitions high. ” 

She added “The success of Emirates Women Award is due to the support and patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum since 2003, to motivate every woman entrepreneur and professional in the UAE. Which led to increasing the participation number last year to 110 participants includes 22 professional women and 88 business women, have won seven winners. The woman under our wise leadership has risen in stature and thought, and has managed to reach the top executive leadership positions in the public and private sectors.
