French leader of the affordable fashion for the whole family opens its first stores in the UAE at Dubai Festival City Mall and Ibn-Battuta Mall
Dubai, UAE, March 26, 2018: KIABI, the affordable French Fashion since 1978, is bringing its impressive range of stylish, great value-for-money collections for the whole family to Dubai. Following a successful opening in Saudi Arabia in 2015, the brand continues its expansion in the Middle East by opening its very first stores in the UAE at Dubai Festival City Mall and at IBN-BATTUTA Mall, in partnership with Al-Futtaim.
A favorite fashion brand among French people in 2016, a leader in the French ready-to-wear market, recipient of the best digital brand award in 2016 and ranked among the top 3 great places to work in 2017…. Kiabi is widely renown in Europe thanks to its omni-channel activity in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Malta, Poland and Russia, and is now successfully operating in Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Sub-Saharan Africa, with a total of 500 stores in 17 countries and nearly 2 Bln € early T/O.
What is the key to Kiabi’s success story? Simply put, it is affordable fashion and happiness. Kiabi has continuously endeavored to offer a wide range of affordable clothing and accessories for women, men, kids and babies, including special lingerie, maternity and plus-size collections, to ensure that everyone has easy access to lovely clothes, to enjoy simple moments of happiness. Young and older, slim and curvy, serious and fun-loving, romantic and eccentric... KIABI gets everyone on-board and delivers a powerful promise: happiness looks good on you! Imagined by our 56 in-house designers, 100 % designed in France collections draw their inspiration from the catwalks to offer up to 100 new products in store every week. The KIABI Spring-Summer 2018 collection comes in an array of exceptional detail, stunning colors and bold prints, including exotic flowers and classic “sea, sand and sun” stripes, perfect for the season ahead!
The first 2 stores will lead their way to further openings and a project of e-commerce activity, with an objective to become the leader of the affordable fashion market for the whole family in the UAE, and more largely, in the Middle East. To achieve it, KIABI will rely on a close partnership established with Al-Futtaim.
“Dubai is a strategic market for our brand and we are delighted to have Al-Futtaim as a partner to help drive and support our development here. We feel there’s a perfect match between customers’ hopes and expectations and Kiabi’s unique model: our innovative collections designed in France, both affordable and great value-for-money, a true customer-friendly attitude and a « think global, act local » approach.” Florence Leclerc, Chief International Franchise & Partnership Officer.
Established as a trading business over 85 years ago, Al-Futtaim has fostered its people-first approach to become a truly diverse customer-centric company that harnesses a solid heritage of entrepreneurship to always add value and improve the overall consumer experience.
“We are pleased to welcome Kiabi to the UAE and we look forward to a long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationship with the brand and our customers. Together, we are delighted to offer something truly unique, combining the very best in French fashion for the whole family at exceptional affordable prices.”
