Women's 2018 Spring/Summer Footwear Collection

Dubai, UAE, March 25, 2018:  Geox’s collaboration with Ernesto Esposito, one of the most renowned Italian shoe designers, endures into the Spring Summer 2018 season with a collection of affordable luxury: elegant and feminine footwear which stands apart for its sophisticated combination of materials and on-trend detailing. The product of an unusually creative juncture, this new design slant nevertheless is still firmly anchored in the principles that have made Geox synonymous with well-being and functionality.

Breathable, impermeable, lightweight and flexible, the famous patented Geox soles are the mainstay of the whole collection, starting with the daytime styles. Whilst the charred brown hues of the supple suede or python print embellish round-toed loafers or sandals with ankle ties, white is triumphant on the perforated leather Derby lace-ups with an EVA sole and cushioned insole - a style solution which caters perfectly for our busy modern lives.

There is a timelessly elegant feel to the shoes made from black patent whilst the ones in ecru leather, elevated with gleaming metallic buckles, are perfect for more formal occasions. As are the classic ballerinas, the two-band sandals and the slipper loafers which are strongly trending this season.

A high-octane summertime vibe permeates the nautical-inspired models -closed-toe slingbacks with a wedge or no heel which merge fresh white and blues with the tactile allure of leather, fabric, rope and metal. They are real seasonal musts which deliver comfort and stability thanks to the special  memory-foam insole which also features on the espadrilles, wedge sandals and slide sandals, tapping into the vibrancy of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and exploring a series of bright colours, original combinations, ethnic patterns and natural materials.

In addition to Ernesto Esposito’s creations, for its Spring-Summer 2018 collections, Geox presents the newest variants of its walking shoe, Nebula a symbol of technological excellence with a modern pared-back design. Ergonomic and comfortable, Nebula is available in a lace-up or slip-on version and comes in a gamut of striking colours -red, black, blue or glacier grey-or more toned-down mélange hues which alternate fabric and leather to create a series of different guises -
shiny, matte, printed or a sueded effect.
