A Meet & Greet with the Pakistani Cricket Sensation Umar Akmal

12 March 2018, DUBAI:   Wafi Mall & Plan B Group has collaborated once again to give the UAE public the exciting opportunity to not only meet and greet with Umar Akmal, but also experience playing cricket with the exceptional player.

The feeling of anticipation and enthusiasm by the fans awaiting Umar Akmal’s arrival has finally come to an end as he made his appearance at Wafi Mall at 5pm. Welcomed with sheer excitement, applause, and a series of camera flashes, he made his way to the stage where he greeted his fans with his opening speech. 

Among the fans, the media, and all the attending mall visitors, were three wonderful special needs children who were personally invited to the stage by Umar Akmal, to receive his famous signed cricket jersey and the opportunity to snap a few selfies with the star. They then made their way to the caged pitch right beside the stage where the three children were the first amongst the fans to experience a few overs with the professional.

Once the balling and batting was done with, Umar Akmal went back to stage to give the fans a photoshoot opportunity, which was then followed with short interviews by the attending media and an autograph session with t-shirt giveaways.
