HBMSU presents its achievements to Dubai Government Human Resources amid joint efforts in advancing human development

UAE, February 21, 2018 - Dr. Mansour Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), recently received H.E. Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of Dubai Government Human Resources Department, accompanied by a top-level delegation during a recent meeting held on HBMSU campus. During the meeting, HBMSU presented the University's leadership in the global adoption of academic accelerators in an innovative educational system that meets the need of the 21st century. It also highlighted the University's plans to develop academic programs according to specific accelerators based on innovation, entrepreneurship and intelligence, and introduce them through electronic platforms by 2020, in line with the government's approach to integrate artificial intelligence systems within the educational system. The delegation was also briefed about the role of advanced technological infrastructure and smart initiatives, such as Smart Campus, in creating an environment that is receptive to innovation and knowledge creation, aimed at reshaping the future of smart education in the UAE and the Arab world, in line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of the University. The meeting concluded recognizing the importance of their joint efforts to support human development, in light of the country’s wise leadership, which places high value on human capital as "the real wealth of the UAE".
