CEO Empower Ahmad Bin Shafar Statement on Commemoration Day

“In the observance of Martyrs’ Day, we at Empower commemorate with the whole nation the martyrdom of our dear brothers who have embraced the mission to protect our country. It is humbling to remember that they sacrificed their lives to protect the spirit of the nation, of humanity, of peace and the right of every being to live.

Their courage is a fitting reminder of the greatness of this nation and we take pride in sharing their principles, which we hope to pass on to future generations.

As we pay our tribute and give honour to our martyrs, we hope to bring a new spirit of zeal and enthusiasm to set higher goals in light of our loyalty to the country’s flag and wave them within our hearts with fervour wherever we set foot to create a mark in the name of the United Arab Emirates. As a UAE company, we are proud and grateful to be part of ushering into the new era under the guidance of our wise leaders.

I take this opportunity to thank Almighty for the blessing of security for the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nayhan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council Rulers of the Emirates.
