Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, 06 June 2017: The Football Academy (TFA), an U18s football team sponsored by Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), has lifted this year's Dubai Sports Council League Champions title after a comfortable 4-0 win in the final.

Having successfully competed against six other local academies, including Spanish soccer Schools, Roma Academy, PreCor Academy, GoPro Academy and Mondial Academy, TFA will be competing in the du UAE Football Association Academy League.

“It is great to see bright players grow and develop. This has been our key priority and commitment to support the ambitions of young talents in the UAE. We're thrilled to be supporting these passionate young men on their journeys as part of our wider commitment to develop homegrown sporting talent,” Haitham Mattar, CEO, RAKTDA, said. 

Ali El Jishi, Head Coach, TFA added: “I am very proud of the team. Their hard work and commitment is the result of this win. I would like to thank Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority for their support since the beginning of this year and I look forward to a successful and continued partnership.” TFA are currently training for their summer tour which will see them fly to the USA at the end of next month.
