Dubai, UAE, July 13, 2016: Turner, a division of Time Warner and parent company of Cartoon Network Arabic, continues to innovate and pave the way for exceptional TV entertainment experiences by offering its popular channels, Cartoon Network and Boomerang, in HIGH DEFINITION and DUAL LANGUAGE OPTION starting July 2016. The channels will now be available in English and Arabic and broadcasted across Middle East and North Africa exclusively on beIN for DTH (direct to home) and on compatible IPTV platforms. This follows the successful launch of Cartoon Network Hindi, the first international cartoon channel in Hindi, earlier this year.
Cartoon Network and Boomerang will continue to be the leading source to view timeless Warner Bros. favorites such as Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, and Scooby-Doo, as well as Cartoon Network Original series like The Powerpuff Girls, The Amazing World of Gumball, We Bear Bears, Adventure Time and many more.
“We are thrilled to provide exceptional cartoon viewing options and quality entertainment to our viewers. The standards in entertainment requirements are ever-increasing and we are making sure to stay ahead of the curve whilst also offering viewers the choice to watch their favorite channels in their preferred language,” said Tarek Mounir, Vice President & General Manager MENA, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus at Turner.
Turner has also launched a new website and Facebook page to complement the content on Cartoon Network. A special site dedicated to Boomerang is also set to launch later this year. For more information, viewers can visit the website www.cartoonnetworkmena.com, where they will be prompted to select the language of their choice and continue enjoying exclusive content.
