IndiaCast launches Ramadan Initiative – COLORS Sham E Iftaar, for the fourth consecutive year

~ Over 5000 Iftar packs to be distributed to labour camps in Al Quoz, Sonapur & Sharjah ~
Dubai, UAE, June 19, 2016: IndiaCast has announced their labour camp initiative COLORS Sham E Iftaar for the Holy month of Ramadan. The South Asian entertainment network aims to reach out to labour camps located at Dubai & Sharjah and distribute Iftar packs to over 5000 less privileged labourers.
Commenting on the campaign, Sachin Gokhale, Cluster Business Head of IndiaCast Middle East, Africa & APAC said, “Ramadan is all about compassion and sharing. At COLORS, we are always trying to create opportunities to engage and be a part of the lives of our audiences. During Ramadan, we aim to reach out and connect with one such segment of our audience. Giving back during the holy month is a part of our annual community activity.”
Each pack consists of one chicken biriyani, one seasonal fruit, one juice or laban, water and dates. 5000 such packs will be distributed over five days at Al Quoz, Sonapur and Sharjah. The activity will be carried out from 27th June to 1st July 2016. On the last day of the initiative, a fun filled event with games and entertainment will be organized at one of the labour camps. This will be followed with refreshments and gifts.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Sham E Iftaar is being hosted. The employees of IndiaCast will be seen volunteering at the labour camps during this initiative.
