DSC Mobile App Wins the 2015 Gold Stevie Award

December 25, 2015, Dubai, UAE: The Mobile App - Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) Citizen App - available both on iOS and Android won the 2015 Gold Stevie Award in the “Best Business / Government App” category. This award was judged by a panel of leading technology experts who had to judge from competing applications nominated under this category.
The end-to-end solution delivery of this App was owned by Torry Harris Business Solutions (THBS), in collaboration with Gulf Business Machines (GBM).
DSC provides smart and easy ways to navigate Dubai’s economic, demographic, social and population statistics through this application. Some of the key features, among others, of this bi-lingual citizen app are:
Providing information on socio-economic indicators of Dubai
Mapping different statistical information like population count, education details, shopping malls counts, building details, etc.
Generating statistical reports through the data provided by the center
DSC provides statistical, consulting and training services through this app, which can be subscribed to or requested by the citizens of the Emirates of Dubai for free
Income & expenditure module to plan an individual’s budget by identifying his/her monthly and annual income
Social sharing of the app screens from different modules
