Union Coop to Welcome Eid with Promotions worth AED 5 Million

1500 items from food and non-food category to be offered at a discount up to 65% on Eid al Adha 

July 13, 2021:   Union Coop – the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE announced the allocation of AED 5 Million for the Eid Al Adha promotional campaign, which is set to begin 15th of this month and will continue until 28th of July. The promotion will include 1500 food and non-food items with discounts ranging up to 65%. The promotion is part of Union Coop’s effort to promote community welfare initiatives aimed at making consumers happy, meet their requirements and offer them high-quality products at competitive prices, in addition to supporting and serving different segments, which is in line with the country’s social and economic objectives. 

In this regard, Mr. Majiruddin Khan, Trading Division Director, Union Coop, confirmed that: - “Union Coop is constantly seeking to launch yearly discount campaigns in all its branches and centers scattered strategically throughout the emirate of Dubai. These efforts are in accordance with the marketing plan aims to delights the consumers, thereby indicating that it is also keen to provide basic and high demand products at competitive prices, which again are aimed at providing multiple purchase options to consumers,” 

“These efforts are in the consolidation of its primary vision of establishing and opening new branches that contribute to reducing the burden on citizens and residents of the country,” said Mr. Majiruddin Khan. 

He continued: – “The campaign will start on 15th of July and will continue till 26th of the same month, coinciding with Eid Al Adha as the promotion will last 14 days. The discounts up to 65% will include essential items such as vegetables, fruits, dairy products, meat, sweets, spices, rice, oil and other products,” explained the Trading Division Director, who also indicated that Union Coop has diversified the ordering options for all offers by including the Union Coop Online Store as well. Union Coop also offers options of express delivery and ‘Click & Collect’ services from Union Coop branches, even for wholesale purchases and offers, one of the many features that facilitate the online shopping process.
