Alpen Capital recognized by the Dubai Chamber CSR Label for the fourth consecutive year

Dubai, April 27, 2015: Alpen Capital (ME) Limited, Dubai, was recognised for its Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility efforts by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was awarded the CSR Label for the fourth consecutive year.  Alpen Capital received the honour from H.E. Hamad Buamim, President and CEO, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at a ceremony held at the head office of the Chamber on 26th April, 2015. 

Corporate Social Responsibility forms an important part of Alpen Capital’s strategy and is reflected in its approach towards employees, vendors, the larger community as well as the environment. In addition to encouraging employees to volunteer and be a part of all its initiatives, it also maintains long standing partnerships with charity organisations and NGO’s such as Dubai Cares, Emirates Environmental Group, Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs and supports them in their efforts towards a better future.

The Dubai Chamber CSR Label has been designed to provide a diagnostic framework, learning and development tool that will help to refine and improve CSR strategy, policies and practices in the UAE. It provides a clear voluntary standard for CSR implementation in Dubai and elsewhere in the UAE; reviews, evaluates and gives feedback on companies’ CSR strategy and actions, and provides the ability for companies to communicate better with stakeholders about their CSR commitment and practice.
