Sofitel The Palm Dubai Leads The Way In Environmental Excellence

April 2015 Dubai:  Adding yet another sustainability certification under its “green belt”, Sofitel The Palm Dubai has earned three awards at the 3rd Dubai Environment Health and Safety Awards (EHS) held on the 1st of April 2015. The French-Polynesian themed hotel was recognised for its efforts to operate in an environmentally-friendly fashion without compromising their benchmark standards of luxury and sophistication. 

Trakhees  acknowledged companies within the region that sought to operate by abiding to their standards of health and safety at work.  Actively  helping to conserve the environment through revolutionary thinking, eco-friendly actions and amenities, Sofitel The Palm has been acknowledged as an eminent leader in the region’s hospitality industry for their environmental commitment.

Sofitel The Palm’s efforts for sustainiblity have yet again been asserted through the EHS awards winning in these categories: Environmental Performance, Green and Sustainable Building, and Runner-up for Best in Food Safety. Having previously won awards in areas of environmental sustainability such as: the Middle East Hotel Awards for Best Environmental Innovation and Best Use of Innovation Technology and the recent International Hotel Awards for Best Sustainable Hotel for Dubai, is a further testament to their commitment to the environment.

Since its inauguration nearly two years ago, Sofitel The Palm Dubai has demonstrated a great deal of importance to sustainable and green initiaves.  The property has been granted several awards and certifications from the Green Globe Certification, to the ISO 14001 Environmental Certification  and the Blue Flag Award for Best Beach. The working force behind this green property has proven to be a role model, paving the way of inspiration and initiation in conserving the environment.
