New, easy, free online listing tool provides access to all property portals; set to change the way agents do business
Dubai, UAE, 9 February, 2015: A new real estate technology company launched in the UAE today is set to change the way real estate agents conduct their business and manage their property listings.
Airlist, developed in the UAE by the team behind Masterkey, will provide all registered real estate agents the ability to manage their properties in one space, while drastically reducing the time it takes to post listings across dozens of property portals. There are no fees or charges to use the service.
The first free listing tool that is entirely independent of any property portal, Airlist will connect real estate agents with all portals, allowing them to immediately list their properties. The service is committed to being free with no hidden charges and no bias towards any property portal in the region.
“The real estate industry never stands still, particularly in this part of the world,” said Daniel Hart, CEO and Founder of Airlist. “The introduction of Airlist in the UAE means that we can now provide a free service to the thousands of agents who are not currently using any real estate software and need a free listings tool.
“We’re giving agents the opportunity to lead the way and change how they do business, offering them more autonomy and empowering them with a platform which can help them reach more prospective tenants and buyers, and ultimately secure more deals.”
As part of the launch, the company has enlisted the support of real estate ‘Ambassadors’, model agents who are providing feedback on the tool as well as helping to spread awareness among the real estate community.
Hayley Summers, Business Development Manager at Brix Property Partners and Airlist Ambassador, said: “There are more than 50 property portals available to real estate agents in Dubai today, so getting our listings posted on the best, most targeted websites is vital if we’re going to find the right buyers and tenants quickly.
“I’ve been impressed with the experience that Airlist has provided so far and I think it’s the kind of service I’m going to look back on in six months’ time and wonder how I managed without it. The real estate industry is just like any other – we have to adapt to new technology and utilise the apps and platforms built for us; otherwise we’ll get left behind.”
Registering for an Airlist account is a simple, straightforward process, requiring only the agent’s name and email address. Upon approval by the Airlist team, the agent will have immediate access to start uploading their current listings and building their databases of contacts. Features such as SMS capability to contact prospective buyers, status updates on properties, and searches on other agents’ property listings are expected to be well received.
Uploading information about properties is seamless and the agent can send the data everywhere – to all property portals operating in the UAE. The mobile responsive platform can also be accessed on the go, with agents able to upload images directly to their account from their phone or tablet.
“We have worked hard to make the user experience easy and effective,” added Hart. “We expect so much from our technology today; if it’s not a simple process it won’t succeed. The design of the site is beautiful, engaging, warm and inviting. I’m looking forward to hearing feedback from our initial sign ups.”
