Paul Smith Black Label Spring/Summer 15

For spring/summer 15, the Paul Smith Black Label collection takes inspiration from the sunsoaked shades and art deco architecture of Miami.

Dubai - 4 January 2015: In the palette, light blue, dusty pink and burnt orange is complimented with more muted shades of ecru, navy and black. Stripes predominate, sometimes bold across slip dresses and at other times broken across coordinating silk pyjama sets. Occasional botanical motifs evoke the feel of a tropical climate.

Lightweight wools are used frequently in seasonal suiting pieces. A statement-making mini-houndstooth print is a particular highlight. Cottons and silks give a summery ease to some more directional shapes.

Throughout the collection, the silhouette is relaxed as light fabrics are balanced with strong colour and graphic prints. Pleated skirts with a soft fluidity are primed for a seaside stroll in Miami whilst geometric printed two-piece suits and a light pink Epsom coat offer confident formal clothing options.
