Ajman, UAE: 10 June 2026: North Gate British School has officially launched Green Sadaqah: Forest Beyond Borders. A global tree-planting and conservation initiative in collaboration with Eco Matcher, that combines environmental action with the values of continuous charity and sustainability.
Through this initiative, the school aims to plant 3,000 trees across the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, and Uganda, empowering students to become active contributors to a greener future.
The initiative follows a simple yet powerful promise: One Student. One Tree. One Lasting Charity. Through the programme, every student will get an opportunity to plant a tree in one of the three countries listed, thus contributing to climate action, biodiversity conservation, and environmental restoration. Through the Eco Matcher portal students will be able to track the growth of their tree in real time.
"Green Sadaqah reflects our commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and nurturing future generations who understand their responsibility towards the planet," said Mr. Tom Meakin, Principal of North Gate British School.
Through Green Sadaqah, students will not only contribute to global reforestation efforts but will also learn about climate change, biodiversity, sustainable development, and the importance of caring for the environment.
As the trees grow, so too will the legacy of the students who planted them, creating a positive impact for communities, wildlife, and future generations around the world.
The initiative further strengthens North Gate British School's commitment to global citizenship, sustainability education, and meaningful climate action.
