Dubai, Monday 15th December 2015: Following the huge success of her first interactive styling course that was held in October 2014, celebrity stylist, Kelly Lundberg has announced the dates for the next course, to much anticipation.
Style maven, Kelly Lundberg, has created a reputable name for herself in the local fashion world having launched her ‘How To Be A Personal Stylist' E-book, and first run of her online course, ‘The 7-Step Styling Formula', in October 2014. Following the success of this course, a second course will be held from Wednesday, 4th to Saturday, 7th February 2014, at The Boulevard Plaza in Downtown Dubai,
Whether an aspiring stylist seeking to develop new skills, or an already practicing stylist looking to hone their existing experiences to boost their income, the four-day course will focus on helping stylists create a career within the fashion industry, outlining how to turn a hobby into a business, marketing their personal brand, as well as essential practical styling sessions. Offering an exciting and rewarding journey, this course will serve as a fantastic gateway into the dazzling world of fashion with the opportunity to style their first client and attend at least one fashion event in the city.
In the 7-Step Styling Formula™ sessions, attendees will learn not only how to be a great stylist, but also how to be an outstanding business professional. From building a brand, to balancing the books, networking, to negotiating deals and developing new revenue streams - all of which will be instrumental to personal and professional growth. Budding stylists will also be guided into how to create a powerful marketing strategy, putting in place an administration system that will enable them to manage their business seamlessly in order for them to generate additional revenue streams that could see them achieve a business turnover in excess of $100,000 a year.
Stylists who complete the course, no matter where they are based in the world, may have access to an amazing opportunity to join the StyleMeDivine team as a Style Associate (subject to passing the interview, of course).

Course Content
Day 1
Morning: Step 1 - Niche, Niche, Niche
We will cover what kind of stylist you want to be, how to define your niche, create your unique story, what makes you unique as a stylist and design your elevator pitch.
Afternoon: Step 2 - Run a business NOT a hobby
We discuss what makes a suitable business name, you will start to create your business plan, how and where to build your clients and balancing the books.
Day 2
Morning: Step 3 - Becoming the best and having confidence in your abilities
You will learn to understand what is style and image, how to quickly decide what style personality a client is, types of body shape and how colour influences purchases. You will explore the impact of accessorizing, a crucial element to the styling process, men's styling and how you can improve your own fashion knowledge.
Afternoon: Practical Session (Dubai Mall)
Practice makes perfect - you will be assigned tasks in the mall to utilize and apply your knowledge gained in Step 3 of the 7SSF.
Day 3
Morning: Step 4 - Marketing, launching then booking your first clients
We explore the foundation and how to launch your business, how to write a press release, where to market your business and how to present effectively at an event that will result in bookings for your business.
Step 5 - Doing what you love and getting paid for it
We will discuss suitable fee structure for your services, how to create a rate card and identify additional revenue streams such as commission from stores and explore how to develop additional products.
Afternoon: Step 6 - The Big Day, personal presentation, practical consultation and interview strategy
This session explores essential preparation for your first client, what questions to ask during a consultation/styling session and why. We will also explore additional services to offer as a stylist.
Day 4
Morning: Practical Styling (Dubai Mall)
Interactive session with client (one client per two students)
Afternoon: Practical Styling
Setting goals and follow up with client
