Dubai, November 17, 2014: Kansai Paint, one of the global leaders in the paint and coatings industry, today showcased a range of innovative products featuring cutting – edge technology with Active Benefits at the region’s largest construction show, The Big 5, being held at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Center, Dubai until November 20, 2014.

The paints developed by Kansai feature Active Benefits that can help reduce building temperatures and even kill disease-spreading bacteria. • ACTIVECOOL™ TECHNOLOGY – Creating a world with zero carbon footprints.Part of Kansai’s Neoshield range of exterior paints, the ActiveCool formulation helps reduce a building’s carbon footprint by up to 40 per cent. The formulation is developed with binder technology designed to reflect infrared rays from sunlight effectively, thereby reducing surface temperatures of buildings, air conditioning costs, and CO2 emissions.
• ACTIVESILVER™ TECHNOLOGY - Creating a world without disease.
Featured in Kansai’s Wallscape range of luxury emulsion paints for home and professional use, the ActiveSilver technology can kill disease-spreading bacteria by up to 99.99 per cent, coming to the rescue in curbing fungus, mould and disease spreading germs. Especially useful in kitchens, bathrooms, children’s bedrooms and even hospitals, ActiveSilver utilizes binder technology with silver ions suspended in the actual paint film to ensure quick-acting, long-lasting protection against disease spreading germs and microbes.
