The participation reflects du's commitment to advancing the UAE's digital transformation, with du Tech bringing local infrastructure, technology expertise and cybersecurity capabilities to support organisations as they navigate a complex digital landscape.
As the Middle East and Africa's largest cybersecurity event, the 15th edition of GISEC Global, taking place from 16–18 September at Expo City, is expected to welcome more than 25,000 information-security professionals from over 180 countries and feature more than 750 global cybersecurity brands.
At the event, du Tech will demonstrate how its technology capabilities, designed around the operational and regulatory needs of organisations in the UAE, can help enterprises protect critical data, strengthen the resilience of their digital infrastructure and build confidence in the adoption of emerging technologies.
This focus is in line with the UAE's ambitions under the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031. As AI adoption advances, du Tech is supporting the development of the local technology foundations organisations need to embrace AI securely and maintain greater control over their data.
Jasim Al Awadi, Chief ICT Officer of du, said: "The upcoming phase of digital transformation will require organisations to consider security, sovereignty and resilience as fundamental parts of their technology strategy. Enterprise and government leaders need the confidence to embrace emerging technologies while maintaining control over their critical data and infrastructure. At GISEC 2026, we are showcasing how du Tech brings cybersecurity expertise and sovereign AI cloud capabilities together to help organisations navigate these priorities and build secure digital foundations for what comes next."
GISEC Global 2026 will bring together the global cybersecurity community, including government leaders, CISOs, technology companies and cybersecurity experts. The event will place AI, critical infrastructure protection, cyber resilience and public-private collaboration among the key areas of industry discussion, providing du Tech with an opportunity to engage directly with the priorities shaping the next phase of cybersecurity in the UAE and internationally. The programme includes dedicated government and critical-infrastructure stages, as well as discussions around AI, cloud, 5G and emerging security technologies.
At GISEC, enterprise and government decision-makers will be able to engage with the du Tech team on their technology priorities, from cybersecurity and sovereign AI cloud to wider digital infrastructure needs.
Through its growing technology portfolio, du is strengthening its contribution to the UAE's digital ambitions while enabling customers to move from connectivity to secure, sovereign and AI-enabled digital infrastructure. It also reflects du's wider "Re-imagining tomorrow" vision, focused on enabling a digital future built with confidence and resilience.
