Aster DM Healthcare opens second neighbourhood Medical Centre in Al Qusais

DUBAI, June 16, 2014: Aster DM Healthcare, the leading healthcare conglomerate in the Middle East and India, has opened its second neighbourhood Aster Medical Centre for the residential community in Al Qusais, Dubai. The facility offers a comprehensive range of family medical specialities, benefitting the people living in the locality with easy access to healthcare of global quality standards.
The facility is located at AQU Building in Al Qusais-1, proximate to Sheikh Colony residential area and DAFZA Metro Station.
The opening of the Medical Centre witnessed a colourful ceremony featuring the star-cast of the latest Bollywood flick ‘Humshakals’. A line up of celebrities including actors Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor; director Sajid Khan and producer Vashu Bhagnani enthralled the public gathered at the opening event.
The facility, operational in line with the recent mandatory insurance regulations of the Government of Dubai, will support the authority’s vision and strategic plans to cover the health care needs of a wider residential community.
Commenting on the launch of second Medical Centre in Al Qusias, Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, said, “We are very pleased to open the second medical centre in Al Qusais residential area as part of the expansion plan of Aster chain of neighborhood clinics. The facility will cater to the medical requirements of the large residential community in the neighborhood. “The facility has an attached pharmacy to support the patients with easy access to medicines. We wanted to enhance and build upon the services offered at our existing centre in Al Qusais and we believe this will make it more comprehensive,” she added.
The second Aster Medical Centre at Al Qusais will cater to the communities in and around Al Qusais, Al Nahda, Al Twar, Al Mahaisinah in Dubai and Al Nahda region in Sharjah. The centre would also serve the people working at the Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) and Dubai Airport. The Centre, conveniently located close to the DAFZA Metro Station, would be open from 8 am to 10 pm throughout the week.
