AMSA, Dubai's first Standalone Renal Care Center inaugurates its first treatment center in Dubai Health Care City.

Dubai, UAE (December, 2013); AMSA Renal Care proudly inaugurates its first Renal Care Center located in Dubai Health Care City. A specialized center that will focus on Hemodialysis at the start, AMSA aims to cover all areas of Nephrology in the future.

The first center to offer standalone Dialysis, AMSA Renal Care Center aims to provide an affordable service for patients suffering from Chronic Kidney Failure. This will be the only clinic where all the machines will have High Flow Filtration / Hemodiafiltration (HFF) system. This technology implementation will help enable time reduction of the procedure and frequency of the treatment. Commenting on the Launch, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Partha Banerjee said “At AMSA renal care, we aim to provide the best treatment for renal care in an environment that is relaxed, at an affordable price. We will also enable health improvement of our patients by providing Dieticians and Occupational Therapists that will help create a successful management plan with a view to improve patients life style and life expectancy.”

AMSA renal care facilities are designed and developed with state of the art technology keeping patient's safety, care and comfort parameters in mind. With an aim to position itself as a brand where patients will get best quality dialysis treatment without being hospitalized AMSA is aiming at providing all the services that can help the patient have his dialysis without being stuck for the entire day. Senior business executives can use the VC facility while on dialysis and conduct meetings. The treatment rooms are all equipped with WiFi and screens in order to connect them to the rest of the world. Other value added support system services like car pick up and drop, diet advice on call and education for the patient's family members are all a part of the treatment that we are focusing on in order to help the patient and his family holistically all through.

Drawing light to the Nephro support services in UAE Mr. Banerjee stated that “According to the studies conducted, one of the biggest reasons for high occurrence of renal diseases in the UAE is diabetics followed closely by the cardiovascular diseases also the fact that the water consumption of the residents is 40% lower than the other regions of the world adds to it.  Hence through AMSA we aim to not just help the patients but also the residents and visiting expats through constant education and awareness programs by working with corporates and NGOs to ensure widespread awareness about kidney diseases and also help to create a society that can understand and empathize with patients who are suffering from renal related diseases.”

AMSA aims to launch five centers in the first year and will add another twenty centers in the next four years. AMSA Renal Care will be building a capacity of more than 250 Hemo Dialysis Machines across the region and will extend over 2500 treatments per day.
