Celebrated Life Coach & Motivational speaker Marwa Karoura Examines the Notion of Gender Equality
Last Update: Wednesday, November 6, 2013 : 08:13 (+4GMT)
How can you create an egalitarian society for men and women? Are men and women ever truly equal?
Continuing her series of motivational talks that challenge conventional wisdom and explode widely held assumptions, Marwa Karoura, Inspirational Coach and Founder of KTalk, will be addressing gender equality on November 11th, 2013 at Capital Club, DIFC.
In her talk, Marwa expounds an unorthodox 21st century view that equal rights can only truly occur when the differences between the sexes are acknowledged and celebrated. Each gender, she argues, possesses its own inherent strengths and weaknesses. Ignoring these in the name of equality can lead to discrimination, prejudice and bias.
Marwa challenges that it is the recognition, embracement and celebration of the differences between the sexes that is the key to true egalitarianism. When these differences are fostered, everyone in society benefits through the richness, wealth and diversity of talents and capabilities that are made available to all. To ensure fairness and gender democracy, there needs to be a spirit of reciprocal exchange, including exchange at the highest level.
Among other qualifications, Marwa Karoura holds an MBA in Leadership and Emotional Intelligence. She is the founder of KTalk, one of the most successful coaching institutions in the UAE.
Those wishing to attend this session are requested to RSVP at ppoudel@ktalk.info or +971 2 443 0330.The talk will be held at Capital Club DIFC from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the London & New York Rooms, 2nd Floor on November 11th, 2013.
