Friday 18, 2013: Against the Backdrop of the elegant Madinat Jumeirah, Amira Haroon's second installment for Fashion Forward stunned audiences this week.

Amira Haroon, the luxury Dubai based designer unveiled her Spring/Summer 2014 collection to a packed crowd of Dubai's fashion Crème de la Crème. -Inspired by the buoyancy of the ocean, the designs that cavorted down the runway conveyed textures and colours that brought to mind the vibrancy of the ocean, in all of its splendor.
 
In typical fashion, luxury fabrics, vintage crafts and intricate embellishments were used, alongside the finest lace, creating a sophisticated elegance. Each and every design the audience witnessed sashaying down the runway showcased an element of the sea. The power of the ocean was conveyed using sleek, sharp cuts and controlled volume.

Onlookers were amazed by the light, vibrant nature of the collection. Although the stage displayed abundant volume and texture the models were graceful and light, this collection was in no way heavy. Perfect for the fast-paced, independent women of the region.
