Dubai-UAE: 29 June, 2013 – Dubai Investments PJSC (“DI”), the largest investment company listed on the Dubai Financial Market, hosted a health camp for labourers at Dubai Investments Park (DIP), in association with Prime Medical Center (PMC).

Over 400 labourers attended the event that was held at one of the labour camps in DIP. Led by experienced physicians from PMC, the health camp monitored the workers' blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), and sugar levels.

The initiative articulated Dubai Investments' approach to corporate social responsibility, which prioritizes the well-being of the community, the workplace, and the environment. The organization rolls-out regular CSR initiatives that are firmly aligned with the company's core businesses and competencies.

Abdulaziz Bin Yagub Al Serkal, General Manager, Dubai Investments PJSC, said: “With over 144 labour accommodations hosting 65,000 blue-collared staff at DIP, we look upon the health and safety of the workforce as one of our top priorities. As part of this mandate, we host periodic health camps to help workers prevent and better manage diseases. In Prime Medical Center, we have found an extremely cooperative partner for our CSR initiatives.”
