Abu Dhabi Police Honors 4 Volunteers from the Victims Affairs Office

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Thursday, July 4th 2013 [ME NewsWire]: Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations and Head of Victims Affairs Office Committee in Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, honored four volunteers from the Victims Affairs Office in his office. The recognition follows their distinguished participation and effective response while preparing the Etihad Airways Formula 1 award for 2012. He also honored First Lt. Adnan Al Hosani and Lt. Mohammed Maatouk Al Ali for their distinction in developing the office's work and training volunteers on the technical programs and its role and activation during events or disasters.
Major General Al Raisi stressed that the senior leadership instilled the passion for volunteering in the nation, and many people within the country seek to take part in humanitarian action in every facet; he further noted that this has had a good impact on creating a culture of giving and volunteering.
